- Wild-fermented beer, aged in large oak wine barrels for about 3 months.
The figure of Achilles and the sloth on the label is not accidental as it suggests dual purpose of this wild fermentation beer. Among the slow production cycles that characterize Cà del Brado, "Pie Veloce" is the fastest maturing beer. They are made to be drunk fresh (when the aromatic explosion reaches its peak) or they can be allowed to age further to discover their fascinating evolution over time.
The use of a specific strain of Brett Brux yeast combines here with selected hops to give fresh notes of white fruit, tropical citrus, along with a subtle sour character and intriguing funky components.
Accentuated dryness, pleasant minerality and a present and elegant bitterness give the beer excellent drinkability.
