- A dark imperial Saison aged in oak sherry casks with the addition of wild yeast.
"Brettonator" is a real rarity on the beer map of the world. The dark imperial Saison went into Spanish oloroso sherry oak barrels for many months, which gave aromas of grape must, red stone fruit and oak. Over the next several weeks, a wild yeast strain called Brettanomyces claussenii was infused, which made the beer much drier and brought in characteristic funky notes. This beer is great for lagering and at home - we strongly encourage you to buy more than one bottle. To quench the first patience drink the first one now, and the others a few months apart.
A beer brewed, especially for the 2020 Black & Sour Beer Geek Madness festival.
