Instead of choosing between sour and hoppy, Bellwoods decided to create a beer that was both. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of generous hopping (Citra, Amarillo, and Cascade), taming the pleasant acidity of lactic acid-producing bacteria (a house blend is used), and appearing in the bottle without the cumbersome 2 year snooze period in oak. Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of having your cake and eating it too ;)
