- Belgian signature lambic-style beer, in this version with the addition of purple plums. Sour and tart, yet fruity and mesmerizing.
The spontaneously fermented beer 'Old Quetsche Tilquin' is made by fermenting a minimum of 260 grams of purple plums per litre of lambic beer. The unfiltered and unpasteurized beer is refermented in the bottle.
Blends of one and two-year-old lambics are used in its production. It then ferments again in the bottle for a minimum of 3 months. The lambics used were fermented and aged in oak barrels.
We can expect from them a characteristic, sour and tart taste - but at the same time strikingly and juicily fruity.
