- A blend of Steinbier and Bock styles, aged in Raboso red wine barrels, inoculated with naturally occurring wild brettanomyces yeast and lactic acid bacteria.
A special edition of the first sour beer from the Hofstetten brewery, based on their Granitbock.
The beer was matured in Raboso red wine barrels from the Italian Sandre Vini vineyard, allowing naturally occurring bacteria to transform it into this beautiful sour beer. Brettanomyces yeast gave the beer wildness and freshness, and lactic acid bacteria added sourness, which surprisingly combines with the malt-roasted base, creating an extraordinary, even unprecedented complexity, which provides newer experiences in each sip.
