Tommie Sjef: Oud Bruin - 750 ml bottle

Oud Bruin is a style also known as Flanders Brown Ale. It is a blend of fresh and mature Brown Flanders with Brown Ale aged in bourbon barrels. Oud Bruin, constituting 60% of the blend, was aged for over 1.5 years in a red wine cellar, and then aged for another year in Bordeaux barrels. The remaining 40% was aged in bourbon barrels, which was supposed to bring out the American oak notes from the barrels. Expect the worlds of beer and wine to break down, where expressive notes of fruity esters and malt will emerge, accompanied by wine, sour and oak aromas.
