Baltic Porter, a distinctive and characterful Baltic style, served as one of the inspirations for this beer. It is a two-way cooperation, meaning that together with Hidden Springs Brewery we brew a similar base and at the very end we supplement the beer to get as close as possible to the popular desserts of the region. In Wroclaw we will try to recreate Guava Pastelitos, a very popular snack in Tampa, while Hidden Springs Brewery will take a yeast cake with crumble and plums. The traditional long lagering preceded by a long fermentation means that this beer spends more than 2 months in the tank. Dark notes are present, but not dominant as in an Imperial stout. The raw materials used give a slight sense of sweetness and a distinct clean tropical tang. All of this is accentuated with dessert aromas.
